I attended my first screening of Tommy Wiseau's The Room. Tommy was there....no words can describe how insane this man is. This night was, by far, the most fun I have ever had in a movie theatre. It is an experience that everyone should have at least once.

I wanted to get a good picture of spoons flying in the air, but i was too busy throwing them into the crowd. So here's a video on Youtube showing what it is like.
A while back the infamous Grant Kennedy introduced me to this guy's youtube page. At first, I thought this was just another viral internet moron like Pruane2Forever; but to my surprise, his videos had very little views. Mo is a balding Jewish man, probably in his mid 30s, who is obsessed with his cat, and has the the same taste in television shows as a confused teenage girl. Here are my favourite clips, which display his strange obsession with Dawson's Creek. I hope there are more people out there that find this as funny as I do.
Deep down I still want to believe that this is all a joke. At many points, it really is too hard to tell whether or not he is trying to be funny. I want to believe Mo is somehow a twisted comedic genius, with humour that is so subtle and obscure, that it remains under-appreciated. Sadly, I know in my heart that he is exactly who he makes himself out to be.

On Friday we set up a video conference for a talk with Noam Chomsky at U of T. I brought my camera hoping to take a photo of the event but I was too busy, and I also wasn't allowed to. What I didn't know, was that I was going to be working another job afterward, for the Governing Council at U of T, where they were to discuss raising tuition fees. I was to sit in a room next to where all the Deans of the university were meeting, and control the audio levels of the webcast. Right when the discussion started, I heard loud voices coming from downstairs. They were student protesters. Next thing I know I get locked inside and all I hear is chaos outside my door. Since I had my camera, I put it to use. It doesn't look as bad in the video, but I thought the door was gonna bust off of its hinges and swing into me. WRONG DOOR FUCKERS!
My friend took this on his phone during our workshift. I don't think the person who did this really understands how April fools jokes work, but it made me laugh, nonetheless.
